Helping Human-centred organizations and teams navigate the complexities and uncertainties of Systemic Change

Hi I'm Marilyn!

Marilyn Maychak Consulting is an Indigenous-led educational consulting and coaching company culturally grounded in Inuit ways of knowing and being.

My Vision

Focused on building capacity for intercultural understanding, empathy and mutual respect.

I work to centre the voices and lived experiences of Inuit, as well as people from equity seeking and equity deserving groups.

My Work

A Strategic Partner

I help identify blindspots in decolonization, anti-racism, and reconciliation efforts.

A Cultural Navigator

I offer guidance and assurance that you are working with, supporting and engaging with Inuit in culturally responsive and respectful ways.

I provide expertise and lived experience on how to navigate and affirm Inuit identity and community engagement.

My Approach

I work with you to co-create conditions, spaces, and processes for systemic and transformative change.

My approach is trauma informed, strengths-based, human and heart-centred.

Multiple lenses are used to inform my work: decolonial, anti-racist, intersectional, anti-oppressive and Indigenous feminist.

What I Offer

A strategic partner for institutions, organizations, businesses, agencies or teams that engage with Inuit, and are moving towards racial equity, anti-racism and anti-oppression.

Offer guidance and support navigating:
* distinctions-based approach with Inuit
* reconciliation that is inclusive of Inuit
* outreach and engagement with Inuit living in southern Canada
* anti-racist, anti-oppressive and equitable ecosystems and spaces

Need support with facilitating dialogues, conversations, meetings, engagement sessions?
I offer eyes and ears for deep listening, equity and inclusion, cultural empathy and the ability to hold space for others.

A systems thinker who walks alongside you to bring people together to collaboratively effect change.
